photography of dancers

on this picture i decided to take it in the mirror to make it quite interesting, i was trying my camera out with different settings and got different styles of pictures taken, this was on a normal shutter speed so it only blurred a bit when they moved but kept the focus on them dancing.

on this picture i stayed with the previous camera settings on the picture above, and got them when they was lined up and moving there arms, and i got a little bit of the refection in the mirror when the women behind the dancers is.

on this picture i changed the camera settings a little bit more so it not as much in focus as the other picture, i got them also in the mirror for a cool refection and got them moving a little bit as they where mainly moving there arms. the shutter speed was on the fastest when i took this picture, so it is a little bit blurry.

on this picture i turned the shutter speed down a little bit to get a different effect and different blur, the focus isn't as good as the previous pictures taken, but it is still quite ok, the picture would of been better if you could tell that they were dancing and got some of the movements in the picture.

this picture is blurry because i was changing the ISO and the shutter speed and it just went blurry, they wasn't moving that much and i was moving the camera, the settings wasn't correct and that is why it is not a very good picture.

in this picture they was doing a little dance with 2 other people,i was changing the shutter speed and ISO so i moved the shutter speed right down. So because they are moving fast and not staying still they are blurred, this shows that the picture is based on movement, you can easily see that they are moving in this picture, but i don't like the fact that it is blurred. i like that the dancers in the back ground are in focus and the camera is in good focus

in this picture i moved the shutter speed right down so all the dancers moving are in blurred and the background is in focus, i am ok with this picture, you can see the movement in this picture, but i just don't like the blur in the picture, if it wasn't blurred i would like it more, but then you would not be able to see that they are moving.

this picture, the shutter speed was quite medium, so they are a little bit blurred, they wasn't really moving that much because they where just crouched down on the floor, some of them where moving more then other people, so some of them are more blurred then others, but most of it is in quite good focus.

on this picture i moved the shutter speed right down, it was dark at first so i had to change the lightness and stuff, i got a bit confused on it so i got helen to help with that, i took the picture as soon as he bent over and she had her leg up, i like that it is all in quite blur and that it is quite bright, but the brightness and with the blur it kinds of ruins the picture a bit.

in this picture the shutter speed was at medium so all that is quite blurred are there feet and there arms, mainly because that was the main thing that they where movning at the time, i like that the rest of the picture is in focus and that the girls in the back ground are a little bit blurred.

i like that is picture is blurred and some of the picture is more in focus then the rest of the picture, and that the girls in the back are brighter and more blurred then the rest.

in this picture i kept the ISO and shutter speed that same as the previous pcitures, and i got the girl when she was doing a cart wheel, and her legs are all blurred and you can see alot of detail and patterns on the floor, the girls are blurred in the back with the lights and there shadows are on the floor, so this picture has gone quite ok, could of gone better though.

this picture the girls wasn't moving as much and it is all in focus, but it is a lot quite dark, i moved the shutter speed right put and made sure that you could actually see them properly, the camera kept missing out because it was trying to get in focus, so i put it on auto focus to try and sort it out, i also got the same picture as this and tried out different styles int eh camera. the picture is quite dark so next time i take a picture in the same effects i will try and get it brighter.
